HOW TO GET YOUR PLUMBING READY FOR THE UPCOMING COLD WEATHER
There are actually a lot of things you can do to get your home or office ready for the upcoming cold months. Today we will be focusing on two of these very things.
1) Do you live in an area that gets very cold, rainy weather. Well the first thing you might want to do is get your gutters cleaned out. I don’t care if you share the street with others or just by yourself. You still need to get the gutters cleaned out. If clogs do exist, this will cause damage in other areas. It will cause your whole area to become flooded.
You can either do this yourself. I don’t usually recommend this, unless you really know what you are doing. You can also call a plumber or HVAC guy to come out and take care of it. I actually recommend you do this.
2) This second tip is for those who have gardens and do that sort of thing. You might want to consider hanging up the hoses and putting them away. Do this before the majority of the cold weather really hits. I mean you can leave them out, if you want. I can guarantee that this will cause more damage later on. I don’t recommend it. It’s best to let your hoses, gardening tools and flowering beds hibernate until the springtime comes around again.
